CANiK PRIME Radian – Competition DNA in the CCW Class
The CANiK Prime Radian is a new variant of the Mete MC9 Prime pistol, which is a subcompact design. A key feature of this handgun is the strong emphasis on ergonomics despite its small size. The Prime Radian represents a significant modification, distinguished by a ported barrel and an integrated compensator.

Special Radian Barrel
The most important feature of the new CANiK pistol is the Radian Afterburner + RamJet assembly. RamJet is a specially designed barrel with so-called porting, that is, an additional port venting propellant gases upward to reduce muzzle rise. This solution is paired with the Afterburner, an external compensator mounted on the barrel. According to Radian, the combination of these two elements can reduce recoil by up to 40%. The Afterburner + RamJet assembly is also produced for other platforms and has gained strong recognition on the market.
Other notable features of the Prime Radian include:
- a slide-cut optic mounting interface,
- Night Fision tritium sights,
- a flat-faced trigger with a 90-degree break,
- Prime-line ergonomics, including a distinctive grip backstrap and a flared magazine well.
