On May 20–21, 2026, the Poznań International Fair grounds will host an event that has quickly become one of the most important meetings of Poland’s security sector. The event will focus on the key challenges of the modern world: from the effects of climate change and natural disasters, through chemical and environmental threats, to building and transport disasters. Particular attention will be paid to solutions in the fields of internal security, rescue, and civil protection in crisis situations.
On the second day, May 21, SCHRONTECH ’26 will take place – an event devoted to protective construction, co-organized with the Institute of Protective Construction Association. SCHRONTECH responds to one of the most current and demanding challenges in contemporary construction. It focuses on new technical requirements, safety, functionality, and real-life application scenarios, creating a space for discussion that goes beyond theory and touches on design and systemic responsibility.
The PROTEGA trade fair is a space where solutions that genuinely increase public safety and state resilience are presented. The event’s prestige is emphasized by numerous institutional and industry patronages. Representatives of civil protection and civil defense, as well as expert communities, are also involved in the event’s program work, while the Honorary Committee and Program Council include representatives of public administration, the State Fire Service, and the academic community. Wiesław Szczepański, Secretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, has officially accepted an invitation to join the Committee.
Technologies and solutions for security
Companies such as HELP BAG will be present at the event. HELP BAG is the first Polish brand to design and launch a comprehensive solution: a modular emergency kit with complete equipment that provides light, heat, water, and safety in every situation. There will also be manufacturers specializing in protective construction, including SHELTERS, EMER SECURITY SHELTERS, PELTER, MIRBUD, ARKOM, and FERROPLAST; producers of power generators, such as ENERIA CAT; as well as companies offering water-packaging machines and specialist clothing. There will also be no shortage of companies specializing in the production of ICT systems and presenting modern technologies and drones. Among the services presenting the latest equipment supporting rescue operations will be the Wielkopolska Branch of the Volunteer Water Rescue Service. The substantive program will be enriched by many specialists, including representatives of Polish Red Cross branches, who will focus on the aspect of humanitarian aid.
The event is held under the honorary patronage of, among others, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the Wielkopolska Voivode, the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves, the Mayor of Poznań, and WOPR Wielkopolska.
