Glock Press release
Glock will supply RCMP officers with G45 pistols in cooperation with RAMPART Corp. Chambered for 9 mm x 19 Parabellum ammunition, the model combines the compact slide assembly known from the G19 with the full-size frame of the G17, creating a configuration developed specifically for uniformed services.

Extensive Testing of Glock Pistols
According to Glock, the selection of the G45 was preceded by an intensive process that included extensive testing and safety qualification of the new system. This included, among other things, 20,000 rounds fired from Glock pistols over two days, as well as advanced drop testing.
Not Just a Pistol, but a Complete System
The outcome of the procedure conducted by Public Services and Procurement Canada is the selection of RAMPART and, consequently, Glock G45 MOS 7 pistols. The pistols will be delivered in the following configuration:
- Aimpoint ACRO P2 red-dot sight,
- Streamlight TLR-7X weapon light,
- Ameriglo suppressor-height sights.
Together with the pistols, the package includes Safariland holsters – 6360 RDS and 6377 RDS – as well as a NANUK 910 case. According to the official informational graphic, training versions of the pistols will also be delivered.
