On November 24–25, 2025, during the PROTEGA Civil Protection and Civil Defence Fair, the PROTEGA Congress will take place – a two-day forum for knowledge sharing and exchange of experience for representatives of public administration, emergency services, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. The program includes expert panels, lectures, and practical workshops devoted to key aspects of the Civil Protection and Civil Defense system.

Day 1 – System Challenges and Practical Skills
The first day of the Congress (November 24) will open with a discussion panel featuring members of the Honorary Committee and invited guests, dedicated to the directions of development of the Civil Protection and Civil Defense system in Poland. Subsequent sessions will address topics such as system organization, the role of administration and businesses, logistics, and strategic reserves.
In the workshop section, participants will learn the principles of creating safety plans, how to prepare an evacuation backpack and an emergency kit, and will take part in practical first aid exercises.
Day 2 – Response and Cooperation
The second day (November 25) will focus on civil protection in crisis situations such as floods, blackouts, or infrastructure failures. Discussions will also cover the organization of Collective Protection Facilities, training and exercises related to civil protection and civil defense, and the functioning of civil defense during wartime.
At the same time, on the workshop stage, experts from the Government Strategic Reserves Agency will present opportunities for cooperation with businesses. Participants will also learn how to respond to terrorist attacks, drone and missile threats, and will be introduced to the principles of selecting and using personal protective equipment.
