LYOFOOD expands its offering
LYOFOOD is a Polish producer of long-shelf-life food whose core offering consists of a wide menu of freeze-dried meals, valued by climbers and other outdoor sports enthusiasts. In cooperation with the European Space Agency, it prepared a special menu for Poland’s first mission to the ISS – the Ignis mission, carried out as part of Axiom Mission 4. As a manufacturer ready to carry out non-standard and demanding tasks, the company is also expanding its offering in the civil defense and uniformed services segments.

Modular ration packs
LYOFOOD is entering the ration-pack market with a modern approach. Its rations are divided into three modules:
- Morning Pack,
- Afternoon Pack,
- Evening Pack.
In addition to the basic meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – the packs also include desserts, snacks, and extras such as drinks and chewing gum. The main meals are prepared using the chemical heater included in the pack. Each pack also includes a reusable biocomposite spoon, designed not to affect the taste of the meals, and an antibacterial wipe.
The ration configuration, including meals, heaters, and other components, can be modified according to the individual customer’s requirements. The three packs together provide a total of 4,000 kcal.
Emergency kits
As part of its Emergency menu line, LYOFOOD offers meal kits for one person for 3, 10, or 14 days, available in meat and meat-free versions. They include main courses, soups, breakfasts, and desserts with a long shelf life, packed in containers.
