At the 29th edition of Eurosatory 2026, the international defense industry trade show organized by Coges Events and taking place June 15-19 of this year in Paris-Nord Villepinte near Paris, Polish manufacturer VEGA, specializing in the production of nitrocellulose combustible containers for mortar and artillery ammunition, is participating in the event. The company is present at the national pavilion of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).

VEGA – Polish technology for modern armed forces
VEGA’s presence at the PAIH pavilion underscores the growing role of the Polish defense industry in international markets. The company has been developing and upplying advanced nitrocellulose products for the defense industry in Poland and abroad for nearly 30 years.

VEGA’s products are distinguished by exceptionally high resistance to external factors, including moisture and extreme temperatures. The containers retain their properties during long-term storage at temperatures ranging from -50°C to +70°C, which is of critical importance from the perspective of military logistics, storage, and operation in a variety of climatic conditions ‒ from desert environments to areas of high humidity and low temperatures.
Science and engineering as the foundation of development
VEGA’s development is built on the competencies and experience of Polish engineers drawn from leading technical and military universities, including the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. The company has its own research and development department, which continuously refines the production technology of nitrocellulose combustible containers and develops new products, such as containers for the standard 155mm artillery caliber used in NATO armies.
VEGA is a Polish company specializing in the design and production of nitrocellulose products, founded in 1997 by Jacek Dudziński, PhD, a research scientist at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. Since the beginning of its operations, VEGA has continuously supplied the highest quality nitrocellulose combustible containers for mortar ammunition, artillery ammunition, and other nitrocellulose products to the domestic and international defense industry.
Thanks to its many years of experience, the academic background of its management staff, and its proprietary technologies, VEGA possesses the highest level of competence in the design and production of high-energy combustible containers for external charges for the majority of mortar and artillery ammunition types.
