MON, MSWiA, and RCB launch an information campaign
The sound of alarm sirens, a notification from the Regional Warning System (Regionalny System Ostrzegania, RSO) app, or an RCB Alert are the main channels for warning residents of an impending threat. Preparation for crises begins with education, which is why we are responding to society’s needs.
The Ministry of National Defence, together with the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the Government Centre for Security (Rządowe Centrum Bezpieczeństwa, RCB), and Telewizja Polska (Polish Public Television), is launching a nationwide information campaign. Its purpose is to strengthen social resilience by educating and informing citizens – a key complement to the recently published Safety Handbook.
In the coming days, informational graphics, video, and radio spots will appear in the media and on the Internet. The Ministry of National Defence encourages people to use the campaign materials, share them on social media, and consult the Safety Handbook, which can be downloaded here: Safety Handbook now available, prepare for any situation.
The shared objective of the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the Government Centre for Security, and Telewizja Polska is to prepare society for crises – education, information, and resilience-building are the foundation of the nation’s security.
The Safety Handbook is a government initiative aimed at preparing citizens for a range of threats – from cyberattacks and disinformation to natural disasters, military situations, and infrastructure crises. The project highlights the importance of building social resilience and responding thoughtfully to contemporary challenges. Its goal is not only to increase citizens’ safety but also to strengthen community, trust, and solidarity across society.
