On Thursday, July 16, 2026, Defence.Hub’s Extraordinary General Meeting adopted a resolution approving a rights issue. The company plans to issue a total of 80.1 million Series G shares at 0.10 PLN per share. Defence.Hub intends to raise approximately 8 million PLN in growth capital. The proceeds will be used to carry out a three-stage technology commercialization program comprising the deployment of a detection module in the first half of 2027, the licensing of AI/ML software in 2027, and the achievement of full operational capability for the MACS counter-drone system, followed by the launch of serial production within 24 months.

Amid persistent geopolitical tensions, defense companies must pursue rapid growth. The Management Board believes that raising PLN 8 million will enable Defence.Hub to develop the system’s mechanical and electronic components, optimize its AI models for dedicated hardware accelerators, expand its engineering team, and conduct field trials under near-operational conditions. The company aims to begin commercializing the first elements of the technology in the first half of 2027 and to achieve readiness for serial production of the MACS system within the next 24 months.
Maintaining pre-emption rights will allow existing shareholders to preserve their proportional holdings in the company’s share capital and participate in financing its continued development.
“Today’s decision by the shareholders marks an important step in implementing our growth strategy. We thank them for their confidence and support for the direction we have chosen. We are also seeing considerable interest from prospective investors and receiving positive feedback from them, which further confirms that proceeding with the share issue is the right decision. The capital raised will allow us to complete key development work, conduct testing, and prepare the project for serial production. Current geopolitical conditions provide a particularly favorable environment for projects of this kind. Rapidly rising defense spending across NATO countries and the growing importance of counter-UAS systems are creating significant opportunities to build a strong European company specializing in counter-drone technologies,” said Łukasz Gmys, President of the Management Board of Defence.Hub.
Following approval of the resolution by the General Meeting, the Management Board will begin preparations for the rights issue. The company will announce the subscription dates and subsequent stages of the offering in separate communications.

Following the capital raise, the Management Board intends to implement the next stages of the strategy, ultimately accelerating the generation of initial revenue.
“Our goal is not to wait two years for a finished product. We want to begin selling technologies developed under the MACS project much earlier. The detection module, AI/ML software, and sensor-fusion solutions can be commercialized independently of the final system. As a result, we expect to generate our first revenue as early as the first half of 2027,” Łukasz Gmys added.
According to analyses by NATO and European security institutions, the counter-UAS segment is currently one of the fastest-growing areas of the defense market. Rising defense spending by NATO countries and lessons learned from armed conflicts are driving rapid growth in demand for autonomous drone detection and neutralization systems.
