On Friday, January 23, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz presented appointment letters for new duty assignments to eight officers of the Polish Armed Forces.

As reported by the Ministry of National Defence, personnel policy in the armed forces is of fundamental importance to national security. Accordingly, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz presented appointment letters for new duty assignments to the following Polish Armed Forces officers:
- Brig. Gen. Jarosław Chojnacki – Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Operational Command (DO RSZ);
- Brig. Gen. Mariusz Ochalski – Head of the Military Engineering Directorate and Deputy Inspector of the Branches of the Armed Forces at the Armed Forces General Command (DG RSZ);
- Brig. Gen. Dariusz Czekaj – Deputy Commander of the 18th Mechanized Division (18th MD);
- Col. Krzysztof Duda – Commander of the 12th Mechanized Brigade (12th MB);
- Col. Dariusz Dróżdż – Commander of the 20th Mechanized Brigade (20th MB);
- Col. Krzysztof Rodak – Deputy Commander of the 8th Home Army Infantry Division (8th ID);
- Col. Zenon Mroch – Commander of the 9th Łódź Territorial Defence Brigade (9th ŁTDB);
- Lt. Col. Łukasz Gradziński – Commander of the 31st Tactical Air Base (31st TAB).
