On Monday, June 1, 2026, Danish defense technology company MyDefence, which specializes in drone detection and counter-UAS systems, strengthened its presence in the defense market by appointing Paulina Epler as Country Director in Poland. This is another step in the company’s expansion in one of NATO’s fastest-growing defense markets.

Paulina Epler joins MyDefence from Raytheon Polska, part of the US corporation RTX, where she was responsible for developing the company’s business and strengthening its long-term presence in the Polish defense market.
The appointment of a Country Director gives MyDefence a direct presence in Poland. The company is one of the few Danish defense technology firms to have such a presence. Poland is currently among NATO’s leaders in defense spending, having allocated 5% of GDP to this purpose in 2025.
Paulina Epler’s career spans both the public sector and the defense industry. She has worked, among other organizations, at the Polish Air Force Command and Polish Defence Holding (PHO), while gaining business experience at PIT-Radwar, Thales Polska, and Raytheon Polska. At the latter company, she was responsible for development strategy, ensuring the company’s regulatory compliance, and industrial cooperation with Polish partners.
“Poland is investing in air defence at a pace we have not seen in a generation, and the window to establish real partnerships, not just sales relationships, is right now,” said Dan Hermansen, CEO of MyDefence. “Paulina has built those relationships from both sides of the table. That is exactly what this market requires.”
MyDefence supplies drone detection and neutralization systems currently used by the armed forces of NATO countries. Paulina Epler will be responsible for developing cooperation with Polish defense institutions, the armed forces, and industrial partners.
