The contracting authority stated that a negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice was used, justified by the fact that WZE S.A. is the only entity with the full technical expertise, access to documentation, and service infrastructure required to support the NSM-CDS system. The agreement continues the existing cooperation, developed in part through the establishment of the NSM System Support and Configuration Management Center.

The contract covers comprehensive servicing and technical support for NSM system components and associated infrastructure. The support includes:
- removal of faults — repairs that cannot be carried out by the Polish Armed Forces’ organic maintenance workshops;
- maintenance and upkeep — preventive measures and ongoing activities to maintain equipment readiness;
- technical support for equipment sets — servicing of components requiring specialized tooling or technological facilities.
Under the contracted services, WZE S.A. specialists will be responsible for servicing key elements of the Naval Missile Unit’s system, including NSM Mobile Launch Vehicles (MLVs), command vehicles, Combat Command Vehicles (CCVs), transport and loading vehicles, and mobile communications nodes.
The Naval Missile Unit, part of the 3rd Ship Flotilla in Gdynia, is one of the key elements of Poland’s deterrence posture in the Baltic Sea region. Maintaining the full operational readiness of the NSM-CDS system has a direct impact on its ability to conduct anti-ship operations and protect maritime infrastructure.
The new agreement strengthens the unit’s logistical and technical stability, ensuring continuity of support for one of the most advanced missile systems in the Polish Armed Forces.
