GROT BULLPUP conversion now on the market

The long-awaited conversion kits for the civilian versions of the MSBS GROT rifle are now entering distribution. They allow for the transformation from a classic layout to a bullpup configuration and are available without a purchase permit. Offered for both variants – the S16 FB-M1 and the S10 FB-M1 – the kits reduce the overall length of the rifle while retaining the original barrel. According to the manufacturer, the conversion has been designed so that it can be installed by the user without the need for a gunsmith.
The kit includes:
- rifle handguard,
- trigger housing,
- buttplate serving as a stock,
- handguard mounting components.
Thanks to this solution, the rifle retains its core ballistic parameters—such as accuracy and grouping—after conversion, while gaining a more compact form factor. Shortening the overall length of the rifle (while keeping the same barrel length) allows for much quicker and more efficient weapon handling when engaging multiple targets in confined spaces.
The change in layout also improves the rifle’s balance—the center of gravity is shifted closer to the shooter’s body, which minimizes felt recoil and muzzle rise. The movement of the bolt carrier group near the support point further enhances this effect.
After the conversion, the rifle retains the high level of ergonomics associated with the classic layout. Key controls—such as the magazine release and fire selector—are operated in a way similar to the standard stock configuration. The only change is the position of the bolt catch, which in the bullpup layout has been placed near the magazine well, in a way that is ambidextrous and accessible to both right- and left-handed shooters.
