On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the 4th Regional Logistics Base (4. RBLog) in Wrocław published information on the launch of a tender procedure, conducted as a restricted competitive procedure, for the supply of spare parts for the chassis of combat vehicles from the AM General HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) family of multi-purpose off-road vehicles, locally designated as Tumak.

The deadline for submitting requests to participate in the procedure is June 11, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. The sole bid-selection criterion will be price, weighted at 100%. The contract is to remain in force for 120 days from the date of signing.
A detailed description of the subject of the contract, its requirements, and the terms of contract performance will be set out in the contract documents, which will be provided to contractors invited to submit bids.
The notice further states that the contractor will be required to deliver spare parts to the Nowogród Bobrzański depot of the 4th Regional Logistics Base at its own expense.
Recently, on April 2 this year, the 4th Military Economic Department in Gliwice published information on the conclusion, on March 11, of a contract worth 892,101.24 PLN gross with MMC Consulting for the supply of 68 types of spare parts, as well as 40 armored door windows and 50 bullet-resistant panes for HMMWV vehicles.
HMMWV-family vehicles have been in service with the Polish Armed Forces since 2004, where they were given the proper name Tumak. A total of 217 vehicles were delivered to the Land Forces. The variants include 96 Tumak-2 vehicles, the most common M1043A2 weapon-carrier version; 60 Tumak-3 vehicles, the M1025A2 weapon carrier; 31 Tumak-4 vehicles, the M1097A2 transport variant; 18 Tumak-5 vehicles, the M1045A2 Spike ATGM launcher carrier; and Tumak-7 vehicles, including nine M1097A2 Shelter Carriers and three M1035A2 Soft-Top Ambulances.
In 2009, additional HMMWVs were delivered to the Special Forces: 12 M1151A1 w/B1 vehicles with advanced communications systems for Agat Military Unit, Komandos Military Unit, and GROM Military Unit, as well as an unknown number of M1165A1 Special Ops vehicles for GROM.
More vehicles have recently been delivered to the military: NS SECM field workshops supplied together with M1 Abrams tanks.
