Each VX-5HD Gen 2 scope comes equipped with a SpeedSet Elevation dial. What sets it apart from standard elevation turrets? Its specialized design includes a clamp mechanism that secures the dial to the turret. This clamp is released by tilting a built-in lever integrated with the dial, allowing for quick removal. This makes resetting the zero easy and eliminates the need for additional tools, which are unnecessary with the SpeedSet system. This feature also ties into Leupold’s Custom Dial System (CDS), which allows customers to order a custom elevation dial tailored specifically to their chosen bullet.

Another key feature of the interchangeable dials is the ZeroLock mechanism, a built-in lock that prevents accidental adjustments. It functions as a button integrated into the dial, enabling instant unlocking and quick elevation corrections.
