This model belongs to Bergara’s premium product line, featuring the best available materials and design solutions. In this configuration, the Premier system includes a lightweight 416R stainless-steel receiver, a longitudinally fluted bolt body, a carbon-fiber–wrapped barrel made using Bergara’s proprietary CURE technology, and a substantial muzzle brake. The rifle also uses a TriggerTech trigger.
All of this is housed in a carbon-fiber stock manufactured using a specialized process intended to deliver exceptional rigidity and an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. The stock features a distinctive fibrous “grid” pattern along with additional camo-style accents.
The Cima Pro will be offered in multiple chamberings. The lightest variant is expected to weigh 2.6 kg. Prices are expected to start at 2,710 EUR.
B14 Sierra and B14 Sierra Stainless
The B14 line is Bergara’s proven action paired with durable polymer stocks. Two additional models are now joining the extensive range of configurations.
The B14 Sierra is intended to redefine the standard for an affordable, high-quality hunting rifle, offering what both novice and experienced hunters need. The B14 action is paired with the practical Bergara Sporter polymer stock, featuring an adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull.
The B14 Sierra will be offered in popular chamberings, from .223 Rem. and 6.5 CM to .308 Win. and .338 Win. Mag. Prices are expected to start at 992 EUR.
The B14 Sierra Stainless Steel, in turn, is a variant that uses stainless steel in the action, additionally finished with a Cerakote coating.
A distinguishing detail is the longitudinal fluting on both the bolt and the barrel. In terms of materials, design solutions, and overall finish, this model fits perfectly into the concept of a practical big-game rifle for harsh conditions, one designed with reliability as the top priority.
Stainless steel also comes with a higher price tag, starting at 1,162 EUR. The rifle will be available in the same chamberings as the B14 Sierra and is expected to have a similar weight.
What impression do Bergara rifles make?
Trade shows like IWA OutdoorClassics are an excellent opportunity to compare many competing products in the same place and at the same time. Having handled many of the bolt-action rifles on display, it’s hard not to give Bergara rifles special recognition. In my view, they left the best overall impression, combining strong aesthetics with a smooth bolt throw. Browsing catalogs is one thing; holding a product in your own hands is an important experience. Sometimes you can simply feel that something is exactly as it should be – an American would say, “It’s just right.” That short phrase best captures my impressions after visiting Bergara’s booth.
