On May 20–21, 2026, the Poznań International Fair grounds will host an event that has quickly become one of the most important gatherings for the security sector in Poland. The exhibition brings together experts, public administration representatives, emergency services, and companies developing technologies that support civil protection and crisis management. The event focuses on the key challenges of the modern world, from the effects of climate change and natural disasters to chemical and environmental threats, as well as building and transportation disasters. Particular attention will be given to solutions in the areas of internal security, rescue services, and civil protection in crisis situations. PROTEGA is a platform where solutions that genuinely enhance public safety and national resilience are showcased.

Technologies and Solutions for Security
Companies appearing at the event will include HELP BAG, the first Polish brand to design and launch a comprehensive solution: a modular emergency kit with full equipment to provide light, warmth, water, and safety in any situation.
There will also be manufacturers specializing in areas such as specialist construction, including SHELTERS, EMER SECURITY SHELTERS, PELTER, MIRBUD, ARKOM, and FERROPLAST; the production of power generators, such as ENERIA CAT; bagging machines; and specialist clothing. Companies specializing in ICT systems will also be present.

Strong Patronage and Institutional Support
The event’s prestige is underscored by numerous institutional and industry patrons. In the previous edition, honorary patronage was granted, among others, by the Government Strategic Reserves Agency and the Ministry of the Interior and Administration. Representatives of OLiOC and expert circles are also involved in shaping the event program, while the Honorary Committee and the Program Council include, among others, representatives of public administration, the State Fire Service, and the academic community.

PROTEGA is not only a showcase of technology, but above all a platform for cooperation among public administration, uniformed services, local governments, academia, and business. It is here that new projects, partnerships, and solutions are born – ones that may determine the effectiveness of the security system in the future. In May 2026, Poznań will once again become a meeting place for people for whom the safety of citizens is a priority.
A detailed event program will be announced soon. At this stage, it is already known that the second day will feature the 3rd SCHRONTECH ’26 Shelter Technology Workshop. The workshop will be prepared in cooperation with the SIBO Association of the Institute of Protective Construction.
Honorary patronage of the event has been granted, among others, by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the Greater Poland Voivode, the Mayor of Poznań, and WOPR Wielkopolska.
