Staccato HD P4X – A compensated hybrid pistol
The HD line continues to expand. The latest P4X is a modified version of the hybrid P4, combining a full-size grip with a compact slide assembly. This configuration was designed to maximize control, while offering a lighter reciprocating assembly than the full-size P4.5. The HD P4X also features an integrated compensator intended to further improve control.
The Staccato HD P4X is scheduled to go on sale on July 13, 2026.
The Staccato HD is a duty pistol with competition roots
The HD line represents an extensive redesign of the competition-oriented 2011 pistol platform. It uses Glock-pattern magazines, which also led to ergonomic changes, including the removal of the grip safety. Another major modification is the addition of a firing pin safety, which improves drop and impact safety.
An entirely new optics-mounting system was also developed specifically for the HD line. One of its distinctive features is the placement of the rear sight in front of the optic cut.
