HAIX Nevada 3.0 MID as True Rescue Boots
HAIX is a renowned and well-established manufacturer of professional footwear, whose products are widely used in Poland by soldiers and members of pro-defense organizations. However, the company’s portfolio extends far beyond military boots, also including footwear designed for emergency medical personnel. This category includes the Nevada 3.0 MID rescue boots, which are intended to combine comfort with a high level of protection.

What Sets the Nevada 3.0 Rescue Boots Apart from Standard Footwear?
At first glance, the Nevada 3.0 MID appears to be standard trekking footwear. However, it incorporates several features that are particularly important from the perspective of an emergency medical responder.
The first of these features is a special polymer toe cap that protects the toes from impact energy while returning to its original shape afterward. The second is a quick-lacing system, consisting of elastic laces tightened with a single pull and a magnetic buckle that allows the upper to be secured quickly.
The sole also incorporates specialized solutions. First, it is designed to provide a high level of slip resistance. Second, it includes a steel insert to protect against punctures. Importantly, the footwear falls into the ESD category, meaning it prevents the buildup of electrostatic discharge.
The Nevada 3.0 MID rescue boots are certified to CE EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 S3S HRO HI CI FO SC SR standards.
Other notable features include:
- a sun-reflective coating designed to reduce heat buildup inside the footwear,
- the ability to adapt to different foot widths using three interchangeable insoles,
- a leather upper.
