Thanks to a fully integrated vertical model, Gevorkyan significantly shortens the path from the development stage to mass production in the millions of units—an advantage that is particularly important in defense programs, where timeliness, design compliance, and continuity of supply are critical.
The production of civilian firearms and ammunition has been part of Gevorkyan’s client portfolio for several years, and the company’s experience includes the development and manufacture of components such as fragmentation projectiles, firearm bolts, projectile driving bands, cartridge case bases, and more. As defense budgets increase and modernization programs accelerate across Europe, demand is growing for precision metal components with predictable quality and reliable supply.
Strengthening local supply
As in most European countries, Poland increasingly needs reliable local suppliers. Through its presence in Poland, Gevorkyan intends to integrate into domestic supply chains while establishing long-term industrial partnerships. Importantly, this is not merely theoretical. The company is already involved in real projects and product development for defense-industry applications, including solutions for firearms manufacturers, personal protection systems, and ammunition.
On-site preparation of materials
According to the plans, the focus will be placed on Gevorkyan’s technological strength in powder metallurgy, supported by a vertically integrated production model that includes raw material production and development. Beyond component manufacturing, thanks to in-house material production and a dedicated production development center, GEVORKYAN has the capability to design the chemical composition of materials to meet specific functional requirements. This enables the company to ensure controlled and repeatable products, as well as precise material blending and composition optimization.
Weight reduction
Based on the above, Gevorkyan’s key advantage in the defense industry sector is its ability to deliver lightweight, high-performance solutions. In modern defense applications, reducing weight without negatively affecting mechanical properties improves mobility, durability, payload capacity, and overall system performance. Key lightweight materials include titanium and aluminum, which are particularly well suited for precision components and structural elements where the strength-to-weight ratio is critical.

At the same time, the company’s portfolio is not limited to lightweight solutions. Gevorkyan can also develop and manufacture hard, high-strength materials for ballistic protection applications, including solutions intended for armor systems and high-load environments.
By combining a local presence in Poland with vertically integrated production based on powder metallurgy, materials development, and proven defense applications, Gevorkyan Force Defence Poland is able to support customers by providing faster industrialization, stable serial production, and a resilient supply chain tailored to the evolving requirements of the defense sector.
