During the 29th edition of Eurosatory 2026, the international defense industry trade fair organized by Coges Events and held on June 15–19 this year at Paris-Nord Villepinte near Paris, Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW), part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), is presenting the Universal Modular Tracked Platform, which forms the basis of the Borsuk IFV, in an export configuration with the unmanned TURRA 30 turret system produced by Slovakia’s EVPÚ a.s., as well as the Waran 4×4 Tactical Multipurpose Vehicle with 30-mm Remote-Controlled Weapon Station (ZSMU-30).

This is the vehicle’s second international presentation, following its debut at the IDEB 2026 international defense industry trade fair, held on May 12–14 this year in Bratislava.
As part of cooperation with the Slovak company EVPÚ a.s., the Borsuk chassis has been integrated with the modern unmanned TURRA 30 weapon system in the V9 version, instead of the original Polish solution ‒ the ZSSW-30 (30mm Remote Controlled Turret System, not to be confused with similarly designated ZSMU-30 Remote Controlled Weapon Station mounted on Waran ‒ translator’s note), which is the main armament of the baseline Borsuk in service with the Polish Armed Forces.

The turret is equipped with a 30-mm automatic cannon, with a choice of guns produced by Northrop Grumman or Slovakia’s ZTS Špeciál, a coaxial 7.62-mm machine gun and Spike LR/LR2 anti-tank guided missiles. The system enables effective fire by day and night, in all weather conditions, while maintaining full protection for the crew inside the vehicle.
The use of modern observation and fire control systems enables precise engagement of a wide range of targets, from armored vehicles to enemy personnel.

The second exhibit presented by Huta Stalowa Wola at this year’s Eurosatory is the Waran 4×4 Tactical Multipurpose Vehicle with a 30-mm Remote-Controlled Weapon Station (ZSMU-30).

The vehicle in the ZSMU-30/40 configuration was first presented at last year’s 33rd International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO at Targi Kielce.
The Remote-Controlled Weapon Station, or so-called light turret, with an interchangeable 30-mm or 40-mm caliber, is a turret system characterized by a modular design and a low weight of less than 1,500 kg, with an elevation range from -12° to +65°. In Paris, it is being presented only in the configuration with a 30-mm Northrop Grumman ATK Mk44S Bushmaster II automatic cannon, a coaxial 7.62-mm machine gun, a Spike anti-tank guided missile launcher and a launcher for eight smoke grenades.

It features two-axis weapon stabilization, an independent stabilized operator’s sight processing images in HD quality, as well as Hunter-Killer and Killer-Killer modes. It is equipped with an automatic target tracking system, or AUTOTRACKER, and other systems known from the ZSSW-30 Remote-Controlled Turret System, developed by HSW and WB Group and so far integrated with upgraded Rosomak 8×8 wheeled infantry fighting vehicles and new Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles.
These include a laser warning system integrated with the chassis, an open-architecture fire control system, a navigation system with an integrated satellite navigation transmitter and cryptographic module, characterized by high accuracy and reliability, as well as an anti-drone system for active and passive drone detection and non-kinetic neutralization, integrated with existing reconnaissance systems and the turret’s weapon system. The Waran 4×4 provides a high level of protection for a six-person crew, consisting of two crew members and four passengers.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with the HAWK C-UAS counter-drone system. It is a modern, multipurpose mobile combat asset designed for operational missions involving active protection systems, vehicle protection systems, enemy fire detection, countering unmanned aerial vehicles and monitoring their movement within a designated protective hemisphere relative to its own position.
Tube launchers for interceptor drones could also be seen on the vehicle, as shown above.
