On Thursday, June 11, 2026, the British company Cambridge Aerospace, which specializes in low-cost and scalable air-defense systems, announced that it would exhibit at the upcoming 29th edition of Eurosatory 2026, the international defense industry trade fair organized by Coges Events, which will take place on June 15–19 this year at Paris-Nord Villepinte, near Paris.

The company will present its flagship product: Skyhammer, an inexpensive, modular interceptor drone. Skyhammer has a range of more than 30 km and reaches a maximum speed of 700 km/h, allowing it to intercept a range of threats, including Geran/Shahed-type attack drones and low-cruise-speed missiles such as those used in Ukraine and the Middle East.
Founded in Cambridge, United Kingdom, in late 2024 and now operating across Europe, the company relies exclusively on secure NATO supply chains to produce resilient air-defense systems at scale, in volume, and at low cost. The company’s rapid growth means that it now employs more than 160 people in highly skilled positions across Europe.
On April 10 this year, the UK Ministry of Defence announced the purchase of a significant number of Skyhammer interceptor drones, with deliveries scheduled from May to October 2026.
Skyhammer design work began in January 2025, and initial flight tests were conducted within six weeks. Since then, the system has undergone continuous, iterative weekly testing to ensure effectiveness in various operational scenarios and compatibility with a wide range of sensor systems. This enables rapid deployment within a layered air-defense architecture.
Recent tests have demonstrated consistently effective interception of drone targets in varied conditions, with autonomous platforms identifying, tracking, and neutralizing threats.
