Kolba among the busiest attractions at Euro Target Show
The Kolba store’s stand once again became one of the busiest spots at the Euro Target Show. That comes as no surprise – the stand covered a large area and was divided into separate themed sections showcasing firearms, optics, outdoor gear, and more. The products on display were easily accessible to visitors, so anyone interested could, for example, try out a given sight, compare it with another one, and seek advice from one of Kolba’s many representatives. The store’s stand is particularly important from an optics perspective, as Kolba is the official distributor for the civilian market of Leupold, Vortex Optics, and Primary Arms, brands that have set the standard for red dot sights, LPVOs, and long-range scopes for years. Beyond optics, the company’s portfolio includes many other renowned brands, making it a key player on the Polish market.

New CANiK pistols
As the official distributor of the CANiK brand, Kolba presented part of this Turkish manufacturer’s catalog in Poznań. Naturally, the METE MC9 PRIME model, one of the company’s most talked-about new releases, could not be missing. It is a pistol positioned between a compact and a subcompact, featuring a number of performance-oriented elements such as an improved trigger mechanism, a compensator, a flared magwell, and a red dot mounting interface.
Walther RS3 already in Poland
On Kolba’s stand, Walther’s latest product was on display – the RS3, a stockless bolt-action rifle intended to revolutionize hunting rifle ergonomics. The firearm features a multifunctional grip safety and a straight-pull bolt. Importantly, the entire design was developed to be as intuitive to operate, as fast, and at the same time as safe as possible. The bolt handle is positioned in such a way that gripping and operating it feels entirely natural. Because of the stockless design, the optic is mounted on a high “bridge.” In my case, shouldering the rifle and acquiring the red dot’s aiming point was smooth and effortless. Once my cheek was placed against the cheekpiece, everything seemed to fall into a natural, rigid, and repeatable position. I would be very interested in trying out the RS3 on a shooting range, especially on moving targets.
Explore the wide range of optics on offer
Who would I especially recommend visit Kolba’s stand? Anyone looking for an optic. It does not matter whether it is a red dot sight, an LPVO, something for hunting, or for long-range shooting. Kolba is one of the best stores when it comes to optics selection, thanks to the previously mentioned brands Leupold, Vortex, and Primary Arms. All three offer a diverse range of red dot sights, but Primary Arms deserves special mention for its line of prism sights. Available in 1x, 3x, and even 5x versions, they are an excellent option for those who struggle with an unclear “dot” in red dot sights, mainly because of astigmatism.
