The agreement between CSG Polska, a subsidiary of the CSG Group, and Dezamet S.A. was signed on July 24 this year. The contract covers, among other items, the supply of pyrotechnic components and subassemblies used in the production of fuzes. They will be supplied by the CSG Group, which operates on the Polish market through CSG Polska.
The order is the result of long-standing cooperation in the production of 155 mm artillery projectiles, drawing on the capabilities and expertise of the companies involved.
“For many years, we have been a partner of the Polish ammunition industry, and the agreement just signed confirms that our cooperation has reached a strategic level. We are particularly proud that Poland’s modern ammunition industry has developed, among other things, on the basis of cooperation with the CSG Group. However, we are proposing to the Polish Ministry of National Defence and the Polish Armaments Group that we continue along the course already chosen, and we are ready to meet all the requirements of our partners. We are therefore offering the transfer of additional ammunition technologies, the construction of new production facilities, and joint commercial activities aimed at strengthening the defense capabilities of NATO and European Union countries,” said Wojciech Grzonka, President of the Management Board of CSG Polska and Vice President for Sales at the CSG Group.

In line with the framework agreement on multidomain strategic partnership signed between PGZ and CSG in March, we are discussing further projects whose scale could reshape the balance of power on the regional defense market,” said Dariusz Szlęzak, President of the Management Board of Zakłady Metalowe Dezamet S.A.

Long-term cooperation in 155 mm ammunition production
The CSG Group is a partner of the Polish Armaments Group in the production of 155 mm artillery ammunition. The transfer of know-how and technology from CSG companies enabled Polish plants to launch serial production of artillery ammunition intended, among other systems, for Krab self-propelled howitzers. This ammunition is being supplied to the Polish Armed Forces under an implementation agreement signed by the PGZ-Amunicja consortium and the Armament Agency in December 2023, worth nearly 11 billion PLN, for the delivery of a large quantity of complete ammunition rounds to the Polish Armed Forces. The contract is being implemented in 2024–2029.
On May 30 this year, the PGZ-Amunicja consortium and the Armament Agency signed another implementation agreement for the delivery of several hundred thousand complete artillery ammunition rounds to the Polish Armed Forces. The agreement is worth more than 13.5 billion PLN, with financing secured under the EU SAFE program.
