On December 29, 2025, a contract for the production of ammunition for the Homar-K rocket artillery system was signed at the Polish Army Museum. The subject of the executive contract, concluded between the State Treasury, represented by the Agencja Uzbrojenia, and a consortium of companies comprising the joint-venture company Hanwha WB Advanced System (consortium leader) and Hanwha Aerospace, is the delivery of CGR-080 precision-guided rockets with a range of 80 km, which will be manufactured in Poland. Hanwha WB Advanced System was established by Hanwha Aerospace and WB Electronics. The agreement to establish the joint venture was signed in October of this year.

The contract was signed in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Prior to the formal signing, a meeting took place between the Polish Minister of National Defence and representatives of the government and the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Korea. The delegation was led by the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Korea for Strategic Economic Cooperation and Chief of the Presidential Office, Kang Hoon-sik. On the Korean side, the ceremony was also attended by Son Jae-il, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hanwha Aerospace. The value of the contract amounts to 14 billion PLN. The newly formed consortium will build a manufacturing facility for CGR-080 rockets in Gorzów Wielkopolski. As emphasized by Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, under the signed agreement the company will deliver thousands of these rockets. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2030.

The new rocket production facility in Gorzów Wielkopolski is intended to become a supply hub serving not only Poland’s needs but also those of other European users of the Chunmoo system. In his address, the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Korea for Strategic Economic Cooperation and Chief of the Presidential Office, Kang Hoon-sik, announced that once serial production of CGR-080 rockets is launched, Hanwha WB Advanced System will also engage in research and development work in the field of rocket missiles. He also emphasized that the output of the new facility will, in the future, be directed to export as well.
The agreement signed at the Polish Army Museum marks the beginning of Polish production of various types of rockets for Homar multiple launch rocket systems. The new plant will enable the manufacture of rocket missiles on the territory of the Republic of Poland, thereby allowing the Polish defense industry to acquire new capabilities, with technology transfer to be carried out by the Korean industrial partner. While the parties have not disclosed the scope of the technology transfer, they assure that it will not be limited to assembly only. The vast majority of CGR-080 rocket components are to be produced in Poland.
