The BSDA 2026 defense industry exhibition (Black Sea Defense, Aerospace and Security) is taking place in Bucharest on May 13–15 this year. Turkish company Elektroland Defence, which specializes in unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) robots, and autonomous systems, presented its Medium-2 and BOZKURT platforms.

Ankara-based Elektroland Defence is one of the main suppliers to the Turkish Armed Forces and police, with exports to more than 15 countries. In the medium UGV segment, it has developed the tracked HANÇER, weighing less than 600 kg, and the wheeled BOĞAÇ 6×6, weighing 3,000 kg, which has been ordered for the Turkish Armed Forces.
Now, in cooperation with Turkish company Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi and Romania’s BlueSpace as part of a consortium, it has presented the Medium-2 vehicle, which is being offered to the Romanian Armed Forces. Elektroland is responsible, among other things, for the drivetrain mechanics and wheeled systems. The vehicle is modular, compliant with NATO requirements, and intended for reconnaissance, logistics, evacuation, and other missions.
BOZKURT
BOZKURT, in turn, is a new 6×6 unmanned platform from Elektroland Defence, which premiered at the 17th International Defence Industry Fair IDEF 2025 in Istanbul in July last year.
According to the manufacturer, the vehicle offers excellent all-terrain mobility thanks to its six-wheel drive, independent suspension, adjustable ground clearance, and shifting center of gravity. Its advantages include a modular design, remote control, and high payload capacity. It was developed on the basis of experience gained from previous platforms and is intended for a wide range of military and security missions, including reconnaissance, logistics, and fire support.
As mentioned, Elektroland Defence also produces other platforms for military applications, such as ACROB, a small throwable mini-robot weighing 4.5 kg for reconnaissance, as well as the aforementioned EOD robots: TMR-I Hound, TMR-I Khan, TMR-II Tough, TMR-II Tough BR, and NAT-II BR, together with specialist accessories.
