On May 24, 2018, at the Institute Of Aviation in Warsaw, a letter of intent was signed between Polish Armaments Group and Industrial Development Agency, regarding design of new generation, multipurpose, turboprop airplane – the ILX-34.

Composite structure of wings and flight control surface structure and new turboprop engine used in ILX-34, are intended to reduce fuel usage and lower operational costs. The airplane will be adapted to long reconnaissance flights and operating from unpaved runways. Various versions will be adjusted to the needs to their recipients, using specialized gear.

Maximum takeoff weights will not exceed 5670 kg. With a sustained speed of 400–450 km/h at the altitude of 12192 m (40 thousand feet), with 2 pilots and up to nine passengers,  ILX-34 will be capable of intercontinental flights. Planed variants include passenger, transport, medical, training, and reconnaissance.

Analysis
Letter of intent regarding the project was signed during two-day 18th Polish-American Conference On Science And Technology, in the presence of Jadwiga Emilewicz, Minister Of Entrepreneurship And Technology. The document was signed by director Institute Of Aviation, Paweł Stężycki, chairman of the board of Polish Armaments Group, Jakub Skiba, and vice president of Industrial Development Agency, Andrzej Kensbok. The project will be realized in cooperation with international partners, under the patronage of Ministry Of Entrepreneurship And Technology and Ministry Of Science And Higher Learning.
