The International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) 2025 in Kielce is one of the most important events in the defence sector, serving as an excellent platform for showcasing premiere products from companies in the arms industry. During this year’s 33rd edition of the fair, PSO Maskpol will present the latest version of its ROCK series tactical vest.

We have been observing the evolution of the ROCK vest system since 2022, when the first model, the ROCK ONE, debuted, earning the prestigious DEFENDER award for innovation and functionality. Continuing the consistent development of this well-regarded design, at this year’s MSPO, Maskpol will unveil the missing element of the system, the ROCK 4.0 vest.
The new ROCK 4.0 ballistic vest is the latest addition to Maskpol’s lineup of plate carriers. It has been designed for fast and dynamic operations, particularly in urban environments. Compared to earlier models, the ROCK 4.0 stands out with its compact, minimalist design and low weight.
The vest is made from durable Cordura 5000/500D laminate, resistant to abrasion and heavy loads. A new feature in ROCK 4.0 is the ability to configure the QR (Quick Release) system freely. The user can choose and independently install any 40 mm buckles available on the market, or opt for hook-and-loop straps instead. This applies to both the shoulder straps and the cummerbunds.
Both the front and rear sections of the carrier are made using laser-cut MOLLE technology. The front panel is attached with G-hook buckles, creating a uniform, low-profile surface without protruding elements, thus maximizing the usability of the MOLLE system.
The rear section of the carrier features a quick-mount system for additional panels using separating zippers. This solution is compatible with other products from the MAPA Tactical line as well as with the new carrying system.
A new feature is the addition of specially designed pockets on both sides of the rear panel, intended for a tape antenna. Additionally, the vest is equipped with cable or antenna stabilizing loops: two located on the front and four on the back of the vest.
The cummerbunds are made from Cordura 500/500D laminate combined with modern CURV composite material. This combination provides the belt with the proper stiffness, translating into increased wearing comfort. The outer side of the cummerbunds is covered with a laser-cut MOLLE system, while the inner side features soft hook-and-loop fasteners, allowing the attachment of additional ballistic protection. The new method of mounting ballistic plates uses specially designed hook-and-loop fastener straps that ensure the plate is securely seated. This system allows the use of various plate models available on the market.
With user comfort and hygiene in mind, the vest features replaceable spacer panels that enhance air circulation between the vest and the wearer’s body. The weight of the vest without ballistic inserts does not exceed one kilogram.
In addition to the ROCK 4.0 vest, a new carrying system will also be presented, based on the already well-known PATROL backpack. MASKPOL has expanded its line with three new designs, creating a system consisting of backpacks with capacities ranging from 10 to 80 liters.
