On 29 December, the Weapons Factory Łucznik-Radom (Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom), the part of Polish Armaments Group (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa – PGZ), summed up their 2021 activity. As it was emphasised, the last year was plenty of challenges, but also very successfull as regards to both, domestic and international levels. ( Grot C16A2 in Polish Army ).
Dr. Wojciech Arndt, President of the Management Board of the Weapons Factory Łucznik-Radom, said:
The effectiveness of any organisation is evidenced by the ability to implement plans and actual implementation of tasks and objectives, consistent with adopted schedule. Efficiency therefore indicates how an organisation fulfills its obligations towards owners, employees, clients, partners and other interested parties. The last year was plenty of challenges and changes at the Weapons Factory, but the challenges have a way that they new chances are born, and you can turn a chance into success. The passing year, thanks to the wonderful team of the Weapons Factory, we can boldly include to the best ones.
In difficult 2021, because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the activity of the Łucznik-Radom company was focused primarily on the implementation of current contracts with the main partners and activities aimed at further expansion on international markets.
Maciej Borecki, a Member of the Board of the Weapons Factory Łucznik-Radom, said:
Thanks to the hard work of the team, in 2021 the Weapons Factory delivered to the Polish Armed Forces the next dozen thousand sets of the MSBS Grot assault rifles. In addition, the MSBS Grot S rifles with 14 and 10 inch barrels hit the commercial market as well as sets of the 14.5 inch barrels 2 Rem of the .223 calibre for the MSBS Grot in a civilian version. The Vis 100 M1 pistols received new colour liveries, and their sales exceeded all expectations.
Despite the still ongoing COVID-19 Pandemics, the Weapons Factory Łucznik-Radom fully uses its production capacity. The health protection protocol, introduced in 2020, passed the test and the threat has been minimalised. This is primarily due to the employees themselves who consciently respect these principles. The company also provides outsourcing services, using technologies that will therefore deepen co-operation within the Polish Armaments Group. In 2021 the Weapon Factory had expanded the offer of services in the field of metal processing for entities on the commercial market, which has positively influenced the diversification of its sources of revenue.
The American market – at the beginning of 2021 the special versions of Beryl family rifles were delivered to the United States. The .223 S Beryl M1, Mini Beryl Pistol and Beryl S 762 M1 rifles were sold within a dozen or so minutes after they had hit the stores of the Weapon Factory’s US partners. Throughout 2021, the Company recorded over 300% increase in sales on the American market.

Seweryn Figurski, Member of the Board of the Weapons Factory Łucznik-Radom, said:
The US market is very prospective for the Weapons Factory. Our sports variants of pistols and rifles from the Beryl family have found recognition in the United States and are being sold instantly. We are convinced that a similar success in the future will be a part of the MSBS Grot rifles family, which can become a showcase of our brand across the Atlantic.
In April 2021, the Łucznik-Radom company established cooperation with the Warsaw University of Technology in the field of research and development, advisory, expert and implementing works. The partnership will consist of the exchange of information, organisation of working visits to both entities connected with seminars, scientific and technical workshops and research, as well as on the implementation and application of new technologies, in particular in the area of intelligent materials.
In July 2021, the Weapons Factory Łucznik-Radom and the Military Technical Academy named after Jarosław Dąbrowski in Warsaw signed a contract on strengthening further research and didactic co-operation between the weapon producer, and the Warsaw-based academy.
During the 29th International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce in 2021m the Weapons Factory Łucznik-Radom was granted the Special Award of the Minister of National Defence for the Vis 100 pistol, which was fully designed in athe Weapons Factory of Radom.
As the President of the Management Board of Factory Weapons, Dr. Wojciech Arndt stresses:
The Weapons Factory Łucznik-Radom enjoys the well-established position in Poland and in the world. Due to our pressure on development and co-operation with scientific centres, these days we can boast about the production of one of the most modern modular rifle systems. An innovative approach to relations with universities demonstrated by our company, makes us constantly improve our designs and the production process itself.
