On Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, the 3rd International Defence Industries Forum took place in Kyiv, where Poland was represented by a delegation from the Ministry of National Defence, led by Secretary of State Paweł Bejda. The purpose of the visit was to further strengthen Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in the field of defense.

The Forum was opened by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During this part of the event, Deputy Minister Bejda held meetings with Minister of Defence Denys Shmyhal, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, and Deputy Minister of Defence Serhiy Boyev, focusing on long-term defense cooperation and the current regional situation.
As part of the industry meetings, Minister Bejda also met with First Deputy Minister of Defence General Ivan Havryliuk and Deputy Minister of Defence Anna Hvozdiar. The discussions covered not only modernization and cooperation between defense industries, but also the use of European Union financial mechanisms for joint defense programs (including the SAFE initiative), as well as the security situation, particularly in light of recent developments.
The parties emphasized Poland’s strong support for Ukraine, the crucial importance of defense cooperation, and the fact that Poland and Ukraine are natural partners in building stability and security in Eastern Europe.
