GROT Cup 2025 Shooting Competition
The event, organized by the Brygadier Shooting and Collectors Association, is an excellent opportunity to test the MSBS Grot semi-automatic rifle in action and to compare one’s own configuration and experiences with many other owners of this platform. Participation in the competition is open exclusively to sport shooters who own a GROT rifle of any variant chambered in .223 Rem or 7.62×39 mm.
The competition consists of one dynamic stage with five courses of fire. The courses include paper or steel targets set at distances from 20 to 200 meters, to be engaged from designated shooting positions.
Failure to hit a target results in a procedural penalty and a MISS penalty, with scoring conducted in the Hit Factor system. Any breach of safety procedures results in disqualification.
The competition will be held in two equipment classes:
- Irons (any type of iron sights),
- Optic (any type of optical sights).
An equipment class will be opened in each competition if at least five shooters participate. In both classes, the following are prohibited:
- slings,
- supports such as bipods, shooting sticks, monopods, etc.
No age or gender categories are applied during the competition.
