Under the Interreg VI-A 2021–2027 LT-PL project, 12 off-road vehicles and 6 unmarked passenger cars were purchased.

New Border Guard Patrol Boats Will Enter Service on the Bug River
Also on Friday, 28 November 2025, it was announced that seven inland patrol boats with a total value of over 370,000 PLN have been delivered to the Nadbużański Border Guard Unit. Thanks to them, Border Guard officers will be able to patrol the Bug River, the border river, even more effectively.
The WHALY 380 model boats will be delivered to Border Guard posts along the Polish-Belarusian section of the state border. They will be used for regular patrols of the Bug River and for preventing illegal migration. The design of the new patrol boats allows them to be launched almost anywhere and to navigate the river even at low water levels. They can also be used in crisis situations that may occur within the region.
The dimensions of the newly purchased boats are: length – 380 cm, width – 173 cm, draft – 25 cm. They are equipped with Honda outboard engines (30 HP). Each boat can carry at least four people and the necessary equipment for duty. Their main advantages include maneuverability and a very shallow draft; additionally, the boats are very stable and feature an unsinkable compartment-based construction. The patrol units were purchased together with trailers used for their transport.
The purchase of the boats was co-financed by the Lublin Voivodeship and the state budget. It results from a grant agreement between the Lublin Voivodeship and the Nadbużański Border Guard Unit. The agreement was initialed by Marshal Jarosław Stawiarski and Deputy Marshal Marek Wojciechowski, as well as Brig. Gen. Jacek Szcząchor, Commander of the Nadbużański Border Guard Unit.
