According to the Armaments Inspectorate, which acts on the behalf of the Polish Ministry of Defense (MoD), nine companies have applied for participation in a tender for delivery o new truck and trailer sets for transport of Poland Army’s main battle tanks.

The list of participating companies includes: BMC Otomotiv Sanayi VeTicaret A.S., Tatra Export s.r.o., Jelcz, Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles Osterreich GmbH, a consortium of Dobrowolski, Autobox Innovations and Top Gun Anna Goryca, Siltec, Works 11, AMZ-Kutno, a consortium of Cargotec Poland, Zamet-Głowno and Adelte Transporte y Servicios EFS S.L.U.
The tender for procurement of new truck and trailer sets for transporting MBTs and other armoured, tracked vehicles was launched in May 2020. It calls for procurement of 31 transport sets with an option for 87 additional ones. The new sets will have a load capacity of minimum 60 tonnes, and be capable of transporting Leopard 2 class of MBTs.
