The SMARTEYE ST-1 system automatically detects license plates, mark and model of all vehicles on the road. The system tracks the position and speed of up to 32 vehicles on a four-lane highway from a distance of 160 m. The device is characterized by its simplicity, full flexibility and modern, user-friendly interface. SMARTEYE’s open architecture allows for the device to be set on a tripod with a touch screen, as well as to be operated in a mobile, remotely controlled configuration.
SMARTEYE ST-1 has been equipped with innovative inQL modems, designed by another WB Group’s subsidiary – Mindmade, which allow for a complex, mobile communication in the M2M (Machine to Machine) technology, providing a secure data transmission link. Therefore, the SMARTEYE ST-1 system is capable of automatically transferring recorded data and evidence to appropriate institutions.
According to the Polish manufacturer, this delivery is a result of a long term cooperation between WB Group and the Croatian Ministry of Interior. Delivery of an additional batch of 18 SMARTEYE ST-1 systems should take place this September.
We are very happy, that WB Group’s innovative solutions for civilian markets are being delivered to police departments not only in Poland, but also abroad, said Piotr Wojciechowski, CEO of WB Group. As an engineering company, we design complex solutions, which are a result of our in house founded research efforts. Thanks to this combination of products developed by our subsidiaries, Polcam (SMARTEYE) and Mindmade (inQL modems), we can offer complex systems which will increase traffic security for many years, he added.
This is another step broadening our competences on foreign markets, said Krystian Kaczynski, CEO of Polcam. For many years, our company has been the leading manufacturer of advanced traffic control systems. We consider export contracts to be a natural step on the way to expansion and global growth of our company, he added.
