The Armaments Inspectorate, which acts on behalf of the Polish Ministry of Defense, signed a contract with the Hungarian company Pro Patria Electronics for delivery of 93 PGSR-3i Beagle lightweight man-portable radar systems. The agreement has a value of 39 million Polish Zloty (€9 million).

Deliveries are supposed to run through to 2022. The original agreement includes an option for additional 11 radar systems worth of 4,4 million Polish Zloty (€1 million). The contract includes also logistical and training support packages.

PGSR-3i Beagle lightweight man-portable radar systems are capable of intercepting, detecting and tracking targets moving on or close to the ground. It can also classify and differentiate targets based on their size and movement characteristics.
