On Tuesday, 28 October 2025, a demonstration of WB Group systems was held at the Wesoła training ground for representatives of the Defence and Security Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. The visit took place as part of the delegation’s three-day stay in Poland and provided an opportunity for direct familiarization with the capabilities of the national defense industry.
Particular interest was drawn by the presentation of the Future Task Force manned–unmanned platoon, which received the Defender Award during the 33rd edition of MSPO. This is a concept developed by the WB Group for a manned–unmanned platoon capable of supporting the operations of a motorized, mechanized, or armored battalion using remotely controlled land platforms (MSPO 2025: One WB Group, many awards).
The Future Task Force consists of an armored command vehicle equipped with integrated communication and battlefield management systems, as well as the ZMU-05 remotely controlled weapon station for self-defense, along with unmanned ground platforms fitted with mission-specific payload modules.
When moving on public roads, the manned–unmanned vehicles operate like standard cars, with driver-operators behind the wheel. Once they transition to combat operations, the operators move to the command vehicle, from where they control the unmanned platform at a safe distance. The vehicle’s cabin is lowered, and the platform switches to remote-control mode.
Depending on the mission, the unmanned ground platforms can be equipped with various task modules. Representatives of the Defence and Security Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly were shown vehicles fitted with ZMU-05 remote weapon stations, launchers for Warmate TL unmanned systems, and MN-123 light scatterable mine launchers.
Alongside the Future Task Force platoon, the WB Group presented the FlyEye and Warmate TL-R reconnaissance unmanned systems, as well as the Warmate 3 and Warmate TL-C loitering munitions. At the training ground, visitors were also able to see the Warmate 5/10 strike systems and the BSP-U, which form part of the Gladius search-and-strike system.
Also showcased in Wesoła was the Warmate RR reconnaissance and relay platform, first revealed at the MSPO in Kielce. It features an extended flight range and the ability to transmit signals to other unmanned systems developed by the WB Group. Thanks to its observation payload, the system can also carry out reconnaissance missions.
The WB Group also presented the FT-5 family of unmanned aerial systems, which have already been delivered to the Polish Armed Forces as part of the Gladius system. The family includes the FT-5 IMINT image-intelligence airframe, the FT-5 ELINT electromagnetic-intelligence variant, and the FT-5 SAR radar variant (using a synthetic aperture radar).
