The agreement concluded between the State Treasury – Armament Agency and WB Electronics covers the delivery, by the end of 2025, of 36 Warmate 3 loitering munition sets, each comprising 10 combat platforms, for a total of 360 unmanned systems intended for precision target destruction. The value of the contract is approximately 100 million PLN gross.

As WB Group President Piotr Wojciechowski told the MILMAG editorial team, such rapid delivery is possible thanks to the Group’s extensive capabilities, as it is the only company in Poland with the capacity for large-scale, serial production of unmanned aerial systems. Moreover, the Warmate 3 systems are assembled from components manufactured by WB Group companies (additional Warmate units for export to Asian users).
Although the Armament Agency has not confirmed which types of warheads were ordered with the loitering munitions, it is known that the Warmate 3 is offered with a HEFI high-explosive fragmentation/ shaped-charge warhead with 40 mm penetration and a lethal radius of 30 m, a HEAT anti-tank warhead with penetration exceeding 300 mm, as well as a thermobaric FAE warhead.

Warmate is an alternative to anti-tank guided missiles, thanks to its ability to loiter in the air for extended periods at significantly greater distances. This allows the operator to detect, observe, and identify potential targets with relatively ample time. Through signal relay and retransmission, the strike system can cooperate with other unmanned systems of the WB Group.
On 15 May 2025 in Warsaw, a framework agreement was signed between the Armament Agency and WB Electronics for the delivery of nearly one thousand Warmate loitering munition sets. The agreement, valid until the end of 2035, provides for the acquisition of approximately 1,000 unmanned system sets under subsequent executive contracts. Future deliveries of the loitering munitions are to include their latest developmental variants (Framework agreement for 10,000 Warmate loitering munitions for the Polish Armed Forces).
