W2MPIR is designed to break through, in conditions of strong opposition and saturation by the enemy’s air defenses A2/AD (Anti Access/Area Denial). It consists of FlyEye and FT-5 Łoś (”Moose”) reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles, Warmate 1 (3.0) and Warmate 2 loitering ammunition, connected by the integrated Silent Network communication system and operating under the control of the ZZKO Topaz fire control system and cooperating with forward observers within the U-Gate network. This concept is the so-called “ammunition depot”, i.e. many airframes of loitering ammunition in the air, at the operators’ disposal at any time.
As the President of the WB Group, Piotr Wojciechowski, informed the Editorial Board of MILMAG Military Magazine in an interview that appeared on the pages of the website on 7 September, both W2MPIR and Silent Network systems are concepts for now, but based on existing, readily available solutions.
The WB Group also presented the Combatmate multi-purpose combat vehicle, developed in cooperation with the South African company Bruisertech, equipped with a stabilized, remotely controlled weapons position called Arex ZSU-03, part of the ZSU family, which debuted at the Kielce fair. The FONET vehicle communication system, TOPAZ battlefield management system and COMP @ N and PERAD radio communication systems.
The group presented, once again, the Warmate-TL (Tube Launch) loitering ammunition, which is characterised by folded airframe surfaces, a silenced engine and, above all, the possibility of being fired from a tube launcher. The system debuted for the first time at MSPO two years ago, and was integrated with the German Rheinmetall Mission Master – Protection, an unmanned ground vehicle. This year, Warmate-TL has been integrated with the S-70i Black Hawk International helicopter.
In turn, the company MindMade, part of the WB Group, together with IS-Wireless, presented a critical communication system based on a portable privately-owned 4G/5G network – Mission Critical Network Network in the Box (MC-NIB).
