According to the press release, during the night of November 28–29, Ukrainian forces conducted strikes against the Afipsky oil refinery in the Seversky district of Krasnodar Krai, which is involved in supplying fuel to the Russian armed forces. The facility was hit by drones, and explosions and fires were reported. This was another Ukrainian strike on this refinery.
Taganrog’s G.R. Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex (TANTK) was also attacked for the second time this week. The enterprise is responsible for the repair and modernization of Beriev A-50M/U Shmel airborne early warning and control aircraft, as well as Tu-95MS strategic bombers. According to preliminary information, the Ukrainian strike caused a fire in the repair facility for the latter. It is worth recalling that during the night of Monday to Tuesday, November 24–25, an experimental A-60 Ladoga aircraft, one of only two ever built and formerly used for laser weapon testing, was destroyed in an attack.
Additionally, the destruction of an RV-5000 fuel tank was confirmed as a result of the November 25 strike on infrastructure at the marine oil terminal in the port of Tuapse, where the refinery, subject to U.S. sanctions, is located.
