On Friday, September 6, 2024, the U.S. Department of Defense announced the twelfth military aid package for Ukraine this year (the 70th overall) and the eleventh under the new law, valued at 250 million USD. The previous package was announced on August 23. The funds come from the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) mechanism.

Funds were included in the federal bill H.R.8035 – Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024, which renews military aid to Ukraine.
Detailed list of assistance from PDA funds:
- Additional RIM-7 Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missiles with technical support for air defense systems (modified 9K37M1 Buk-M1);
- Additional Stinger Reprogrammable Microprocessor missiles for FIM-92K Stinger Block I portable air defense systems;
- Additional guided rocket munitions for M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (compatible with M270B1 MLRS, MARS-II/MLRS-E, and LRU launchers);
- Additional 155 mm and 105 mm artillery ammunition;
- Additional BGM-71 TOW heavy anti-tank guided missiles (for M2A2 Bradley ODS and HMMWV among the others);
- Additional FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank guided missiles and single-use 84-mm M136 AT-4 anti-tank grenade launchers;
- Additional M2 Bradley ODS infantry fighting vehicles (previously an unspecified number of vehicles were announced on May 10; around 189-200 units were previously delivered);
- Additional M113 armored personnel carriers (over 800 units have been provided so far);
- Additional unspecified MRAP-class mine-resistant vehicles;
- Unspecified amounts of small arms ammunition and grenades;
- Unspecified patrol boats (such boats were included in the packages from June 7 and May 10 of this year);
- Unspecified maritime training equipment;
- Demolition ammunition and equipment;
- Spare parts, auxiliary equipment, services, training, and transportation.
In total, the United States has allocated more than 56.6 billion USD in military aid to Ukraine since the beginning of Joe Biden’s presidency, including over 55.9 billion USD since February 24, 2022 (full list of military aid HERE – as of September 6).
