The bullpup GROT with a 10-inch barrel is now available!
Expected premiere
On September 18, 2024, Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom introduced a bullpup-configured GROT rifle with a 16-inch (406 mm) barrel to the civilian market. This configuration had been long anticipated. Building on this momentum, today (September 23), the compact version, the GROT BS10 FB-M1 BULLPUP with a 10.5-inch (267 mm) barrel, is being added to the lineup.
Compact variant
Due to the shorter barrel, the handguard has also been reduced, resulting in fewer M-LOK mounting slots. A handstop has been mounted at the 9 o’clock position, preventing the shooter’s hand from sliding onto the barrel. The overall length has been reduced from 688 mm to 549 mm. Another difference compared to the full-size variant is the reduced buttstock pad. The weight of the new variant is 3,244 g (compared to 3,533 g for the 16-inch barrel variant).
Characteristics of GROT BULLPUP
The GROT is equipped with an integrated mounting rail in the STANAG 4694 (Picatinny) standard, allowing for the attachment of various aiming devices, both mechanical and optoelectronic. The weapon is fed from magazines compatible with the AR system, including P-Mag 3 Gen.
The rifle is equipped with:
- a 10.5-inch fluted barrel,
- a modular handguard in the M-LOK system with detachable Picatinny rails, allowing for the attachment of additional accessories,
- a flash suppressor with a jam nut, mounted on a ½-28 thread (with the option to switch to solutions compatible with the AR system).
The rifle is fully adapted for both right- and left-handed shooters, as all the controls (bolt catch, magazine release, charging handle) are symmetrically placed on both sides of the weapon. The user can quickly change the direction of case ejection to either the left or right side using tools available in the toolkit.
The rifle comes with:
- 1 x 10-round magazine,
- 1 x handstop grip cover,
- PVC transport case,
- 1 x user manual.
