On Monday, March 10, 2025, Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom, a member of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), announced that it had introduced the semi-automatic designated marksman rifle MSBS Grot .308 S20 to its offering for civilian shooters.

A modern rifle for civilian users, manufactured in accordance with the quality standards applied to military-grade products. The Grot is a semi-automatic, centerfire rifle with a single-action (SA) trigger mechanism, allowing only single-shot fire.
The Grot .308 S20 is equipped with a mounting rail integrated with the rifle’s upper receiver, built to the STANAG 4694 (Picatinny) standard, allowing the installation of various types of sighting devices (both mechanical and optoelectronic). The rifle features a handguard compatible with the M-LOK system, enabling the attachment of different accessories.
The rifle is equipped with:
- fluted 20-inch barrel,
- modular M-LOK handguard with detachable Picatinny rails, allowing for the installation of additional accessories,
- precision telescopic stock with adjustable length and cheek rest height,
- flash suppressor/muzzle brake with a locking nut, mounted on an M18x1 thread (can be replaced with commercially available compatible solutions)
The rifle stands out for its high ergonomics. It is fully ambidextrous, making it suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters, as all controls are symmetrically placed on both sides of the weapon (bolt catch, bolt release lever, magazine catch, and charging handle). The user can quickly change the ejection direction to either the left or right side using tools available in the maintenance kit.
