On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the Ministry of National Defence announced that the Inspectorate of Unmanned Weapon Systems of the General Command of the Polish Armed Forces (DG RSZ) is opening a call for applications to conduct tests of technical solutions for countering unmanned aerial vehicles.

Based on Decision No. 123/MON of the Minister of National Defence dated September 12, 2025, concerning the organization and procedures for testing unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned weapon systems in the Polish Armed Forces, as well as counter-UAV and counter-unmanned weapon system measures, the Inspectorate of Unmanned Weapon Systems is announcing a call for applications to conduct tests of technical solutions for countering unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Decision regulates the principles for testing unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned weapon systems in the Polish Armed Forces, as well as counter-UAV and counter-unmanned weapon system measures, based on the following assumptions:
- Testing is conducted using organizational units referred to in Article 2, point 10 of the Act of March 11, 2022, on the Defense of the Homeland (consolidated text: Journal of Laws 2025, item 825, as amended).
- Testing is decentralized and may be carried out simultaneously in multiple locations across the country.
- Testing is conducted as part of a fair, transparent, and competitive procedure.
- Entities providing technical solutions for testing are subject to simplified verification by the relevant services, ensuring counterintelligence protection.
Completed applications must be submitted by December 19, 2025, to iwbsu@ron.mil.pl (the announcement number must be included in the email subject line).
