Between June 26 and 28, 2025, training was conducted at Military Communications Works No. 1 (WZŁ-1) in Zegrze Południowe, part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), focusing on the operation of modern Cable Command Vehicles. These technologically advanced vehicles are a key component of the F-OPS Command Shelters for the medium-range air and missile defense program Wisła.
The training was designed for soldiers from selected military units and covered both theoretical and practical aspects related to the use of Cable Command Vehicles in modern communication structures. Its goal was to prepare crews for effective operation in a dynamic operational environment and to ensure the highest standards of interoperability and communication reliability on the battlefield.
The training program included, among other things:
- Practical construction and configuration of modern communication networks in accordance with the current requirements of the Polish Armed Forces;
- A comprehensive overview of the functionality and operation of the Cable Command Vehicles;
- Preparing operators to work within the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS).
The training was carried out by:
- The Vocational Training Center in Kraków (ZDZ) – responsible for the substantive content;
- The internal training section of WZŁ-1 – responsible for full organizational and logistical support.
Thanks to the involvement of WZŁ-1 specialists and training partners, the company provides comprehensive technical support for modern communication solutions of the Polish Armed Forces.
On December 23, 2024, WZŁ-1 announced that, as part of a consortium with the Military Electronic Works (Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne) and the Military Armament Works (Wojskowe Zakłady Uzbrojenia), it had delivered additional F-OPS Command Shelters to the Armament Agency under the Wisła program.
The F-OPS Command Shelters are part of the IBCS system, which operates in conjunction with the MIM-104F Patriot PAC-3+ medium-range air and missile defense system (Post-Deployment Build 8, PDB 8).
