On Monday, July 28, 2025, in Warsaw, Polish Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Bejda, responsible for overseeing the technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces, held an important meeting with Jie Won Park, Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Korea.

The talks focused on strengthening the existing defense cooperation between Poland and South Korea, as well as on the ongoing implementation of military equipment deliveries (MoND: New contract for K2 tanks and accompanying vehicles imminent).
Both sides emphasized the importance of timely deliveries and the quality of South Korean weapon systems, which are being gradually integrated into the Polish Armed Forces’ inventory. Deputy Minister Bejda expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation to date, which is based on mutual trust and shared interests, highlighting the significant contribution of the South Korean defense industry to the modernization of the Polish military.
The meeting also served as an opportunity to discuss future prospects for cooperation, including potential new projects and areas of collaboration. The defense partnership between Poland and the Republic of Korea is an example of a dynamically developing relationship with a tangible impact on security and stability in Europe.
Earlier, on July 18, Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Poland, H.E. Jun Joul Tae.
