According to a statement by the Ministry of National Defense, the classified document of strategic importance organizes priorities and translates them into real capabilities. Among the priority tasks identified are air and missile defense, ammunition, unmanned systems and counter-UAS capabilities, reconnaissance, mobility and logistics, as well as training and improving the readiness of the Polish Armed Forces. It cannot be ruled out that the program takes advantage of the European SAFE initiative, under which Poland could access more than 44 billion EUR. Unfortunately, this project has also been classified, and there are currently no details available regarding the modernization projects that will be financed under the EU financial program.

Based on the available information, the new Armed Forces Development Program of the Republic of Poland is expected to include major helicopter acquisitions. Priority categories are likely to include training helicopters, naval helicopters, transport helicopters, and search-and-rescue platforms. Additionally, transport aircraft as well as special-mission aircraft (early warning, reconnaissance, and patrol) should be an important element of the program. Further budgetary resources are also expected to be allocated to the continuation of the Navy’s modernization program, including logistics vessels, training ships, and multi-role corvettes.
Significant financial resources will continue to be directed toward the Land Forces, where equipment replacement programs, such as those for infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, and artillery, are expected to continue.
