On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Bejda, responsible for overseeing the technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces, met in Warsaw with Phil Jasper, President of Raytheon, a company within the American corporation RTX, to discuss strategic directions of cooperation. The main goal of the talks was to increase the involvement of the Polish defense industry in the production of key weapon system components and the development of modern defense technologies.

The discussions covered the implementation of cable harness production for the Patriot system in Poland, as well as increasing the involvement of the Polish industry in manufacturing Patriot system launchers for international customers (Contract for the production of 48 M903 launchers in the second phase of the Wisła program).
The talks also included the expansion of cooperation in the development of air defense radars and research and development activities in the field of radar technology.
Additionally, a key point of the meeting was to accelerate the delivery of missiles for the FA-50 aircraft used by the Polish Air Force, with the prospect of establishing their production in Poland.
The issue of integrating FA-50 aircraft with U.S. weapon systems was also addressed. Finally, both parties discussed cooperation in the field of counter-drone solutions.
This meeting is one of a series aimed at encouraging major defense industry players to invest in Poland, which will support the development of the domestic defense sector and strengthen national security.
