It is intended for planning operations within the air and missile defense system of the Polish Armed Forces, providing optimal conditions for combat operations while enabling simultaneous, uninterrupted, and well-coordinated execution of all anticipated processes.
This cabin, developed for the needs of the Wisła program, is the counterpart of the American F-OPS (Future Operations Center). It is built on the basis of a 20-foot expandable container, housing workstations for 12 operators. It is adapted for transportation by various means, ranging from wheeled vehicles to rail, air, and sea. Power supply can be provided from an industrial grid, a field network, or a generator set mounted on a vehicle or trailer.
Other cabins included in the IBCS system have also received Polish designations:
- Current Operations IBCS EOC (C-OPS) – Air Defense Forces Operational Cabin/IBCS (KO WOPL/IBCS).
- Engagement Operations IBCS EOC (E-OPS) – Air Defense Forces Battle Management Cabin/IBCS (KKW WOPL/IBCS).
