The main distinction, the DEFENDER award, was granted to the Future Task Force manned-unmanned platoon. This system had its international premiere at this year’s MSPO. The award was received by Marcin Kubica, Managing Director of WB Group. The FTF is an example of a modern combat module designed for operations in a multi-domain environment.
The operational capabilities of the Future Task Force platoon were also recognized by the Operational Command of the Armed Forces, which awarded WB Group in the category “Command, Support and Force Protection.” The award was received by Adam Bartosiewicz, Vice President of WB Group.
The Future Task Force platoon consists of an armored command vehicle and – in the variant showcased at MSPO – three manned-unmanned wheeled platforms, capable of operating in both crewed and uncrewed modes. They resemble small 4×4 off-road vehicles, with a cargo space adapted for modular configurations
Each FTF carrier can be fitted with various equipment. In Kielce, the following platforms were presented: FTF ZMU with the ZMU-05 remote weapon station from AREX; FTF MN with light scatterable mine dispensers (for MN-123 mines or equivalents); and FTF WM with launchers for unmanned systems of the WARMATE TL family: the TL-R reconnaissance version and the TL-C combat version (loitering munition).
The Future Task Force stands out not only for its flexible configuration but also for its ability to operate within various combat scenarios: from patrol operations, through reconnaissance missions, to direct fire support. The modular nature of the system allows it to be adapted to the specifics of operational units and particular tactical conditions.
The FTF system enables target detection and engagement within a radius of 50 km, provides fire support, and carries out evacuation, patrol, logistics, and other tasks. It is an extremely useful, multi-purpose tool for the Polish Armed Forces, complementing manned combat vehicles and enhancing their reconnaissance and strike capabilities.
WB Group was also honored with the award for the best arms exporter, confirming its established position on international markets and its consistent diversification of orders between domestic and foreign customers. The award was received by Piotr Wojciechowski, President of WB Group.
Systems developed by Polish engineers are delivered to dozens of countries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Some of them, such as C4ISR-class solutions, unmanned systems, and the Warmate loitering munition, are also produced in facilities outside Poland.
WB Group is one of the few Polish defense companies whose technologies have been implemented in production in the United States and other countries. The award is proof that WB Group remains not only a key supplier for the Polish Armed Forces but also a partner for allies within NATO and beyond.
The WB Group pavilion was recognized as the most impressive exhibition of this year’s MSPO. The arrangement was centered around the concept of a multi-domain unmanned revolution, showcasing a full spectrum of solutions: from the StormRider and Sk@rp naval systems, through the Future Task Force manned-unmanned land platoon and the G@rdo walking robot, to innovations in the air domain.
The central element of the pavilion was a platform made of LED panels, which displayed films showcasing aerial unmanned systems suspended above the visitors’ heads. The entire setup created a spectacular show, a play of lights, colors, and visualizations, that transformed the exhibition into a story about the future of the multi-domain battlefield.
The multimedia form of presentation and immersive arrangement attracted the attention of visitors and were recognized by the jury. The award, granted by the event organizer Targi Kielce, was received by Marta Łażewska, Marketing Director of WB Group.
