Thorium Space will present its latest product, the Aurora-Pro terminal, and technological solutions that could soon revolutionize the global space market, at the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO 2024 in Kielce. The fair is also an opportunity to showcase the company’s new strategy, “Path to the Stars,” which envisions Thorium becoming one of the key suppliers of telecommunication satellites, both civilian and military, in Europe within the next 3-5 years.
At this year’s MSPO, Thorium Space will showcase its latest achievement—the Aurora Pro terminal, designed for the most demanding military and governmental applications. This terminal, based on advanced digital technology, stands out for its exceptional durability, performance, and ability to provide secure communication in any conditions.
“Thorium Space offers not only innovative devices but also a complete satellite service. The customer receives a ready-to-use solution that works immediately upon activation, without the need for additional contracts or integration with other operators,” says Paweł Rymaszewski, founder and CEO of Thorium Space.
Thorium Space, which has transformed from an R&D company into a full-fledged manufacturer of ready-to-use technologies, is striving to break the monopolistic structure of the space market. The company plans to produce telecommunication satellites for geostationary orbit (GEO) with a mass ranging from several hundred kilograms to several tons, challenging the status quo in this industry.
Currently, Thorium Space is working on several key projects, including the innovative geostationary satellite 39E for the operator Hellas Sat. The next step is to integrate laser communication technology with gateways, which will enhance cybersecurity and resistance to interference. This is a globally unique solution, being implemented for the first time by Thorium.
The company’s strategy through 2030 also includes the development of satellite as a service offerings, aligning with its goal of becoming a leader in the SATCOM and MILSATCOM markets. Thorium Space is focusing on growth in Poland, relying on local, highly skilled engineers, which is a crucial element in building the company’s global position.
“Thorium Space invites you to visit our booth at MSPO 2024, where you can learn about the company’s latest achievements and future plans,” adds Ewa Poławska, Chief Communication & Public Affairs Officer at Thorium Space.
