This year, during MSPO, Mactronic not only presented innovative lighting solutions enhancing safety at the Polish border. On Friday, September 6, the Wrocław-based company received a special award from the trade fair organizers in celebration of the company’s 35th anniversary and 25 years of participation in MSPO (MSPO 2024: DEFENDER Awards presented).
“Our presence at the International Defence Industry Exhibition holds special significance for us. It all started with the initiative of our father, Czesław Mocek. He initiated our participation in this prestigious event, believing in the power of innovation and collaboration. Today, together with my brother Bartosz, we continue his vision, fully committed to developing the company and introducing solutions tailored to the needs of our clients,” says Maciej Mocek, Chief Commercial Officer of Mactronic Group.
Mactronic is a brand that has established itself over the years as a leader in designing and manufacturing portable light sources that enhance the safety and efficiency of military operations. These include patrol, head, helmet, and weapon-mounted flashlights, searchlights, tent lamps, and mobile area lighting systems. To date, the company has equipped the Polish army with over 100,000 lighting products in total.
“The key to our innovations is involving users at every stage of the design process. Because we are well aware of the specific needs of the military, special forces, border services, and other armed units, we create products that not only meet rigorous standards but also address the most challenging operational demands,” explains Bartosz Mocek, Chief Research and Development Officer at Mactronic Group.
Mactronic flashlights and lamps have also been tested in war conditions on the Ukrainian front. They are used by Polish combat medics who evacuate wounded soldiers and civilians. The rescuers often perform their tasks under fire, just a few hundred, or sometimes even several dozen meters away from Russian military positions.
